“I draw inspiration from my passions of hiking and international exploration to compose experiences to bring the viewer to these remarkable locations I am so grateful to explore. Although I work in a variety of mediums my true love is oils. I focus on creating a 3D experience through texture. My landscape work focuses on realism with a hint of abstraction as I combine a mix of scenes I have personally explored into one place I want the viewer to experience. My wildlife and portrait pieces are based on personal or professional photographs, with permission from the creator. Each piece has a specific purpose that I want to draw attention to such as the importance of cultural identity tied to traditional costumes through my Peruvian trio of portraits or importance of environmental conservation for rainforest species such as the Red-Eyed Tree Frog. Each creation is a unique one of a kind piece, sides painted for a professional look, and ready to hang with or without framing. ”
